This park is fantastic. The park is one year old and already rated sixth best rv park in the U.S. The only reason they didn't get all 10's in Trailer Life is because the entrance to the "resort" is not completed, you have to go through the truck stop to get there. Be sure and get their players card at the casino, it will give you an extra 10% off the rate after Good Sam or AAA. It was so quiet at night you could hear hawks screeching. There is an indoor pool, spa and gym. The resort has a shuttle that picks you up at your space to go to the casino every 15 minutes. The food there was tasty and reasonably priced. The only problem we found is that you are in the middle of nowhere, (no large towns). Cayonville does have two grocery stores. The resort has the only gas station in town.

This park is great for visiting Portland. So to bad it has such crabby hosts, they ruin it. We were traveling from another campground about an hour away and called to see when check in was since it was about to rain. We were informed check out was 11:00 but to come anyway since they could move us around. We got there at 10:50 and when I told the man at the desk that we were told to come, then he rudely said, "No, you have to come back at noon." I told him that a woman said they could move us around.."No" he says. I was ticked! My husband and I go back in and the creep is soooooooo nice to my husband, telling him he could park at Fred Meyer or Camping World down the road. When we return we both go in to register and again butter melts in his mouth. A couple of days later we drive down the street, in the campground, to visit some friends we had met from another town. Immediately the camp host walks from around his trailer, (Our friends are parked next to him) and asks us if we have read the rules. I said yes. He said, "Well see that sign it reads" fire line" and you can't park there." We told him we were only there for a minute and we would move. Not good enough. He said that the city police come in there and give $125 tickets for parking there. Truth be known he calls them. The next day our friends had a hydraulic jack leak fluid on the ground. "Sunshine", the host comes around the corner and tells him to "Clean it up." Our friend said he was going to get kitty litter to absorb it, when he went to the store. "Sunshine" tells him to put bleach on it until he cleans it up. Things are going o.k. for us until the day we are going to leave. They allow you to wash your rigs while your there. We had an empty space that had been vacant the entire time we were there. We washed our truck and pulled it into the empty site to dry it. "Sunshine" was about 10 sites from us picking up trash when he stops and walks down to us to tell us we have to move our truck, we can't park it there. My husband tells him we are only drying it there and we'll move it latter. He also tells him NO ONE can come in before noon anyway and it was 9:30 a.m. Between the crab in the office, who also has a sign in front of his rv stating "Retired USMC don't even think about parking here"!! We will never stay here again. Neither will our friends. I thought camp hosts were suppose to help you?

I don't know what the other camper who reviewed this campground was smokin. Ocean view? We're 3 hours inland. This campground is right on the highway with a lot of noise. Summers it gets in the 100 degree range. Would not recommend this park.

This is a great location. Fun to see the jets fly over for LAX. Can't figure out how one person said they paid $50. No way the highest the charge is is $32 in the summer time. We have stayed here twice now any really enjoy the view, bike path and beautiful sunsets.

This campground has been sold to new owners who are just letting the place go. Grass is dead and trash was overflowing in the dumpser. Many people who have stayed here year after year said that the owners can't sell it for 5 years so they are just letting it go and probably will build condo's. Its a shame since this campground is so close to the ocean. You drive in and pick your spot then walk a couple of blocks to the motel office to tell them what site your in. We were here 3 days and the only people we saw that looked like employees were teenagers racing around in a golf cart. With a little water and care this would be an outstanding campground since you can walk to the ocean and close to town.

Great campground. The grass was a little toasty in spots. Large sites with plenty of room for slide outs. Each loop has several large pull throughs. Very large campground with good paved roads and paved sites. Not all sites have sewer hookups. TV is not very good. Even if you get a site that doesn't have shade it cools down at night. Nice place to ride a bike.

Beautiful campground. Do go on the website to look at the map for sites. We have a 32 ft. 5 wheel and many of the sites are perfectly perpendicular into the site. Really hard to back in. The sites that are on the outside from #2 to #43 are easy to get in. Nice park to hike and bike ride to the 10 waterfalls. Good area to swim at the river for the kids. Plenty of hedges and green grass. The nearest small grocery store is 5 miles away. Nearest town is 10 miles. Be sure an check out the Oregon Garden about 10 miles from here. Beautiful botanical gardens with a tram ride. They have outdoor concerts too.

If you like camping on sand and dead grass this is for you. The pictures on the internet definitely were taken in a wet year. Close to the beach. Campsites are close together with little privacy. A million kids riding on all the narrow paved roads. I guess this would be a good campground if you had small kids since they would have plenty of new friends. The main roads are too narrow for 2 rv's to pass little lone the walking and bike traffic. We will not stay here again.

This is a terrific campground right on the beach. The view from your site is breathtaking, you can see for miles. It has a 23 mile paved bike path that is broomed weekly. You are right under the LAX runway so you have to get use to the jet noise. Didn't bother us even at night. We were told it really fills up in the summer months. We stayed 6 nights in April, in a 29 ft. 5th. wheel with 3 slideouts and had plenty of room in our space for truck also. This is such a secret place it's hard to find any reviews on it, but it's great.

We have stayed at this RV Park many times. Very nice people run. quieter than Pismo Coast Village (a zoo in the summer months). Not much to do for the little ones compared to other parks. They have a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Nice laundry room on site. You have to drive to the beach or into Pismo (2 miles) to find good resturants. There is a fresh produce stand within 1/2 mile from the park with the best strawberries.
